I have been asked a few similar questions over the past few years and so, instead of answering the same questions over and over, I will put some common questions and answers here … just in case you have the same …

I am a brand architect and coach/mentor and I love coaching anyone or any team that would like to think differently and out of the box. I am also a workshop facilitator, using a creative methodology and incorporating design thinking and life-design tools in workshops. And then I’m a wife, a mom, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a cook and a gardener … and I love what I do …
Sometimes I don’t manage, just like you, but I have a wonderful loving husband that has my back and three great young adult kids that motivate and encourage me. And then I have a most caring God that look’s after me, day by day.

I try to plan and organise, which does not always work, but I have also learned that plans and schedules CAN change. So, whenever possible, I try to stick to this, and if not … well, then I change it.

I have also learned, that when you love what you do, the doing part is not hard at all.

I read … a lot and I open my mind and senses to the beauty around me. I also study people, how they think, how they feel, what they say, what they like and what they don’t like. And then I love to combine seemingly unrelated topics and objects with each other, all to find new ideas! The world is an interesting place …
As long as I can remember, I have been passionate about herbs. Their medicinal qualities, their flavours, their smells and their beauty. When I decided to start my own business in 2006, it took a lot of courage to leave a permanent well-paid job, just to follow my dreams and passion. Thyme was therefore my first choice, as this means courage, and nothing in life, which is hard or difficult, can be reached without lots of courage.
New beginnings. People’s dreams. Beauty in people and my surroundings. My husband, my kids, my faith. Peace. Music, dance, and books. Uniqueness, authenticity, creativity, passion. Freedom. Curiosity.
And that there is more to all of us than we can ever imagine. We can be so much more, we just need courage …

What I have learned:

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven …
